The University of Houston recently updated the projection mapping content for its basketball team, the Houston Cougars, creating a dramatic, on-court pre-game show at the Fertitta Center. The newly completed “Journey to the West” theme park in Huai’an city, Jiangsu province, China features numerous attractions including two thrilling dark rides. These rides are based on famous episodes in Journey to the West, a 16th century novel about the legendary pilgrimage of Buddhist monk Tang Sanzang and his three disciples – Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie and Sha Wujing – who travelled to the “Western Regions” in search of sacred texts.
