In this episode of Face to Face AV, Justin Kennington, President, SDVoE Alliance chats with Scott Tiner, Director of Client Services, Bates College about the benefits of attending the InfoComm USA tradeshow. Scott is a veteran AV industry pro with 20+ years of experience in the education/higher education field. Scott shared with us that education and networking opportunities are the top two reasons he’s attended InfoComm over the years. He notes that each year he attends, the show get better as does his knowledge of AV technologies. Scott recommends you plan your trip to the tradeshow by striking a balance between scheduling educational tracks and meetings with vendors while being sure to leave open time to visit booths and network with both industry peers as well as designers and integrators.
