Debunking the Myths of the 10G Monster, featuring

In this episode of Face to Face AV with Justin Kennington, Justin interviews guest Brent Tremblay, Business Development Manager, IDK AV North America. Brent and Justin discuss the availability and increasing adoption of SDVoE products driven by supply chain challenges. Brent noticed this trend in June 2022, as system integrators were not able to get product shipped in time to meet their implementation timelines. Brent and the IDK team were able to collaborate with integrators, specifically with AVI-SPL, to understand the needs of the project then procure product that shipped in 4 weeks or less. After a very successful implemental at a large Virginia-based government organization, IDK was asked to support other projects with AVI-SPl across many of their offices. Brent also commented that AVI-SPL did extensive testing before deploying the products and found that the IDK AV product specs met the “truth in advertising” promise. In the course of these implementations, customers realized that 10G was not as scary as they thought but easy and straightforward to implement.
