SDVoE Alliance to Highlight Power of 10 in Education at InfoComm 2025
SDVoE Alliance will feature live demonstrations by AVPro Edge and Aurora showcasing SDVoE’s impact on classrooms, eSports arenas and beyond
MONTREAL (May 27, 2025) – The SDVoE Alliance, a nonprofit consortium of technology providers collaborating to standardize the adoption of Ethernet to transport AV signals in professional AV environments, will present a series of live demonstrations at InfoComm 2025 to spotlight how SDVoE technology empowers higher education environments. As part of the Alliance’s ongoing Power of 10 initiative, the demonstrations, led by SDVoE Alliance members Aurora Multimedia and AVPro Edge, will showcase how SDVoE delivers uncompromised AV performance and seamless integration in classrooms, lecture halls and eSports arenas.
Aurora Multimedia will present a dynamic classroom demonstration featuring simultaneous bidirectional communication between a teacher and student. Using a single SDVoE-enabled device, the system provides a cost-effective solution that eliminates the complexity of traditional AV hardware. Aurora Multimedia’s demonstration will highlight several elements of the Power of 10, including true zero latency to support real-time interaction, visually lossless transmission with no compression and a standard software interface that simplifies integration. Additionally, Aurora’s system will showcase multiview and video wall capabilities along with InstaSwitch, which provides instant source switching.
AVPro Edge will spotlight SDVoE technology in live eSports environments through an interactive demo where a game is played in real-time and displayed alongside a multiview image of the player. AVPro Edge’s demonstration highlights SDVoE’s ability to support latency-sensitive, high-fidelity experiences without the need for external video processors or complex signal routing. The demonstration further illustrates the Power of 10 by showcasing zero latency performance, lossless image delivery with no compression, seamless multiview and video wall functionality and fast switching via InstaSwitch.
“We’re excited to showcase the power of SDVoE technology through our collaboration with Aurora Multimedia and AVPro Edge at InfoComm 2025,” said Stephane Tremblay, president of the SDVoE Alliance. “Our InfoComm 2025 demonstrations will highlight the innovation of our alliance members, proving how SDVoE delivers unmatched performance, flexibility and simplicity for education environments, from interactive classrooms to high-performance eSports arenas.”
With the growing availability of 10G Ethernet infrastructure, SDVoE technology is unlocking its full potential in education environments by delivering zero latency, no compression and flawless image quality over a simplified, scalable network architecture. From traditional classrooms to cutting-edge learning environments like eSports arenas, SDVoE enables high-performance AV systems that are easier to deploy, manage and scale, making it an ideal solution for today’s hybrid, high-demand educational settings.
