SDVoE Alliance Honors Member Innovation and Project Excellence at 2025 Members’ Meeting
AVPro Edge and tt group recognized for outstanding achievement in real-world deployment and product innovation at SDVoE Alliance’s 2025 Members’ Meeting
MONTREAL (May 16, 2025) – The SDVoE Alliance, a nonprofit consortium of technology providers collaborating to standardize the adoption of Ethernet to transport AV signals in professional AV environments, recognized members with innovative technologies and outstanding project installations through the Members’ Choice Awards at the 2025 Members Meeting. This year, AVPro Edge received the Project Excellence Award, while tt group was honored with the Product Innovation Award.
AVPro Edge earned recognition for an extraordinary AV-over-IP deployment aboard a 207-foot, five-deck mega yacht, designed for a billionaire owner with an uncompromising vision of audiovisual excellence. Outfitted to the highest standards, the yacht accommodates 12 guests and 18 crew members across 12 guest suites, 18 crew cabins, and a luxurious owner’s stateroom. Delivering pristine 4K visuals and seamless audio across every room and entertainment space, the yacht’s audiovisual infrastructure demanded performance without compromise. AVPro Edge met this challenge with its MXNet 10G SDVoE platform, integrating a fiber-based 10G AV distribution network built to withstand the demanding marine environment.
At the core of the installation are three AC-MXNET-25G-SW48HQ switches configured using a 100G fiber backbone while leveraging link aggregation and RAG7 load balancing to meet the high bandwidth demands of multicast traffic. The result is an audiovisual system delivering uncompressed, frame-synced 4K/60 4:4:4 video with zero latency and uninterrupted performance throughout the vessel, from the engine room to the sun deck. With its fiber-first strategy, instant switching and simultaneous multichannel and stereo audio distribution, AVPro Edge’s MXNet platform proved to be a solution capable of meeting the client’s elite expectations. The project exceeded technical requirements and set a new standard for luxury AV integration at sea.
“The Members’ Meeting is our opportunity to gather as a community, share progress and recognize industry accomplishments,” said Stephane Tremblay, president of the SDVoE Alliance. “AVPro Edge and tt group stood out this year with practical, high-impact contributions – one through a world-class installation and the other through thoughtful product design that solves real integration challenges.”
tt group was recognized with the Product Innovation Award for its TT-SDVoE-HTRA, an SDVoE input card developed in collaboration with Novastar for the Novastar H Series LED wall controller and video processor. The TT-SDVoE-HTRA reimagines high-density audiovisual integration with a focus on efficiency, reliability and scalability. Traditional hardware stacking methods introduce complexity, which requires more cabling, more devices and increased points of failure. TT-SDVoE-HTRA addresses these challenges with a streamlined, rackable format that optimizes space, reduces installation time and simplifies ongoing maintenance.
The TT-SDVoE-HTRA features a fully hot-swappable card design, centralized monitoring and redundant power supply for maximum uptime. The SDVoE Novastar H Series input card functions as both encoder and decoder, supporting 4K/60Hz 4:4:4 resolution, zero-latency video, seamless switching and full interoperability with the SDVoE ecosystem. The TT-SDVoE-HTRA includes USB 2.0 integration via Semtech’s UEX1000, enabling flexible control scenarios. Available in three versions, including single with USB HID support, single with USB HID and USB 2.0 and dual with USB HID, the TT-SDVoE-HTRA provides a solution for dense audiovisual environments, especially those requiring mission-critical performance and minimal downtime.
