Rose Electronics Joins SDVoE Alliance in Advance of Spring Tradeshow Season

Pioneering AV manufacturer chooses SDVoE platform for next generation AV extension, switching, and processing products

MONTREAL — March 25, 2019 — The SDVoE™ Alliance today announced that Rose Electronics, a leading manufacturer of pro AV solutions, has joined the alliance as an adopting member.

“We’re looking to SDVoE technology to enable us to deliver products that take full advantage of the flexibility and scalability of Ethernet without compromising the quality and performance the industry has come to expect from us. We believe that our KVM switching and extension experience over the last 35 years positions us to package our solutions based on the SDVoE platform in a manner that ensures that our customers receive an unrivaled experience and set of capabilities,” said Peter Macourek, General Partner at Rose Electronics. “We’re excited to meet with customers at all of the upcoming tradeshows and discuss our vision and product roadmap.”

“Rose Electronics has a long history of innovation, particularly in KVM switching and extension, and a worldwide reseller network that will no doubt welcome the uncompromised quality, seamless video switching and advanced video processing inherent in SDVoE technology,” said Justin Kennington, president of the SDVoE Alliance. “We are happy to welcome the Rose team to the growing SDVoE ecosystem.”

Rose Electronics will be exhibiting at Digital Signage Expo (Las Vegas, March 27-28, booth 1116), NAB Show (Las Vegas, April 8-11, booth SL11121) and InfoComm 2019 (Orlando, June 12-14, booth 2061).

All AV distribution and processing applications that demand zero-latency and uncompromised video can benefit from SDVoE technology, which provides an end-to-end hardware and software platform for AV extension, switching, processing and control through advanced chipset technology, common control APIs and interoperability. SDVoE network architectures are based on off-the-shelf Ethernet switches, thus offering substantial cost savings and greater system flexibility and scalability over traditional approaches, such as point-to-point extension and circuit-based AV matrix switching.
