Intrising Networks Joins SDVoE Alliance, Demonstrates New Products at InfoComm 2019

Taiwan-based Industrial Ethernet expert chooses SDVoE platform for complete 4K HDMI-over-IP solution

MONTREAL — June 4, 2019 — The SDVoE™ Alliance today announced Intrising Networks, Inc. has joined the alliance as an adopting member and will be exhibiting at InfoComm 2019 (Orlando, June 12-14) in booth 371. The SDVoE Alliance will be in booth 1143.

“SDVoE technology is the best high-end solution for video/audio distribution in the wide range of markets we serve – commercial, residential, education and digital signage,” said Ken Lee, CEO at Intrising Networks. “We believe that our strengths and experience in high-speed networks and software can be combined with SDVoE to create more possibilities and different applications. We are excited to see the SDVoE community continue to develop and to bring our total solutions to customers taking advantage of video over IP. We are pleased to be part of the growing SDVoE ecosystem and look forward to demonstrating our complete 4K HDMI-over-IP solution to visitors in Orlando.”

“Intrising Networks’ unique blend of expertise in Ethernet switches, AV endpoints and control software offers an exciting opening for SDVoE technology into the domestic Chinese market, a market that has been working with AV over IP for a long time, and will now benefit from the high level of performance available using SDVoE,” said Justin Kennington, president of the SDVoE Alliance.

All AV distribution and processing applications that demand zero-latency and uncompromised video can benefit from SDVoE technology, which provides an end-to-end hardware and software platform for AV extension, switching, processing and control through advanced chipset technology, common control APIs and interoperability. SDVoE network architectures are based on off-the-shelf Ethernet switches, thus offering substantial cost savings and greater system flexibility and scalability over traditional approaches, such as point-to-point extension and circuit-based AV matrix switching.

About Intrising Networks

Intrising Networks was founded in 2010 to bring software innovation and programmability to the Industrial Ethernet world. In today’s world, Industrial Ethernet is being increasingly adopted in more and more applications ranging from smart grid implementations and electrical substation automation to intelligent rail, highway and other transportation infrastructure. Our mission is to deliver a revolutionary new type of Ethernet network services/solutions capable of easy management, flexible topologies, and high performance.

Combining our R&D capability and practical experience on Industrial Ethernet, Intrising has built a total solution for HDMI over IP technology, not just transmitters and receivers but also dedicated IP switches and management software. We will keep AV installers free from the technical problems of Ethernet. Our team of A/V & Ethernet designers, engineers and technicians are available to answer questions at any time. About the SDVoE Alliance

SDVoE is an initialism for “Software Defined Video over Ethernet”. The SDVoE Alliance is a non-profit consortium of technology providers collaborating to standardize the adoption of Ethernet to transport AV signals in professional AV environments, and to create an ecosystem around SDVoE technology allowing software to define AV applications. The alliance participates in tradeshows and conferences, publishes white papers and case studies and promotes SDVoE technology, and solutions based on the technology, to system integrators, designers and consultants. Training and installer certification are also part of the mandate. The SDVoE Alliance founding members are Aquantia, Christie Digital, NETGEAR, Semtech, Sony and ZeeVee. All interested parties are invited to join the alliance and work toward its goals. For more information, visit sdvoe.org and follow us on Twitter @SDVoE.
