SDVoE Alliance Partnering on LAVNCH WEEK, Sponsoring End User Day
Educational content and product news to focus on benefits of Software Defined Video over Ethernet for flexibility and remote control of AV networks
MONTREAL — April 16, 2020 — The SDVoE Alliance® today announced its participation in LAVNCH WEEK, created by THE rAVe Agency in partnership with Zoom Video Communications. LAVNCH WEEK (pronounced “launch” week) is a live five-day virtual event (April 27-May 1) that combines keynote presentations, interactive panels and video content with a focus on a different industry segment each day – pro AV, digital signage, unified communications and collaboration (UCC), house of worship (HOW) and end users.
Established in partnership with HETMA (Higher Education Technology Managers Alliance), End User Day on May 1 will feature an opening keynote from Joe Way, PhD, CTS, and director of learning environments for the University of Southern California. It will also feature an educational “tech talk” presented by Scott Tiner, Director of Client Services for Bates College.
“SDVoE is pleased to be a partner on LAVNCH WEEK’s End User Day,” said SDVoE Alliance president Justin Kennington. “We will be focusing our educational feature on how AV system owners and tech managers can benefit from the interoperability and software flexibility of Software Defined Video over Ethernet to ensure low long-term cost of ownership, and perhaps more importantly in times like these, to control, monitor and reconfigure their networks remotely.”
LAVNCH WEEK attendees can earn CTS RUs and virtually interact in discussions. For more information on SDVoE’s participation in LAVNCH WEEK, please visit https://theraveagency.com/lavnch-week. Registration is available at https://rave.pub/LAVNCHRegister. Spaces are limited. Attendees are encouraged to take their conversations to social media, as well, through LinkedIn and Twitter with the custom hashtag (#LAVNCHweek). The latest news on LAVNCH WEEK is available by connecting with THE rAVe Agency on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram.

The alliance participates in tradeshows and conferences, publishes white papers and case studies and promotes SDVoE technology, and solutions based on the technology, to system integrators, designers and consultants. Training and installer certification are also part of the mandate. The SDVoE Alliance founding members are Aquantia, Christie Digital, NETGEAR, Semtech, Sony and ZeeVee.
