DVIGear Releases DisplayNet 4.7 Update
Update Helps Customers Design, Integrate, and Troubleshoot Systems Faster
Marietta, GA, USA – August 12, 2026 – DVIGear, a leading supplier of Digital Connectivity Solutions , has released DisplayNet 4.7, the latest version of its SDVoE-driven AV-over-IP platform. Available at no charge to all DisplayNet customers, the update helps integrators and end users move from design to operation more quickly, connect DisplayNet with other facility systems more efficiently, and diagnose issues with less manual effort.
Faster Design and Deployment
DisplayNet® Connect for AI Agents is an MCP Server that lets compatible AI assistants and agent frameworks work with the DisplayNet API through natural-language requests. Customers can describe the result they want, and an agent can help turn that intent into a valid configuration, script, or control workflow. This reduces the time spent translating requirements into platform-specific commands and makes sophisticated routing, video wall, MultiView, and cross-system workflows easier to build and revise. The DisplayNet API remains available to conventional control systems and third-party integrations.
Easier Integration and Live System Awareness
DisplayNet 4.7 introduces a new DisplayNet REST API that is compatible with the standard SDVoE REST API while adding DisplayNet-specific enhancements for configuration, control, automation, and system management. For many applications, REST provides a simpler and more familiar integration path than the existing TCI-based API, helping developers connect DisplayNet with third-party systems using widely supported web technologies. WebSocket events provide live system updates, and generated OpenAPI documentation helps teams move from an integration concept to working code more quickly.
Safer Operation and Faster Troubleshooting
Lock and unlock commands are now fully exposed through the DisplayNet API, helping customers protect critical sources, displays, and routes from accidental changes. Clearer blocked-command responses identify the active lock. The update also gives control, monitoring, and service applications more focused access to current device information, without requiring them to retrieve the entire system state. DisplayNet Connect can use this relevant live context alongside system logs to help guide troubleshooting and narrow likely causes more quickly. The result is faster diagnosis with less manual investigation. The release also includes various bug fixes and stability improvements.
The DisplayNet 4.7 Software Update is available now at no charge to all existing DisplayNet customers. For more information about DisplayNet Connect for AI Agents, visit DisplayNet.com.
